At Watotron we focus on helping you become in the know of the gaming industry, this includes tutorials/guides to get you to know how to model, program or even enter the gaming industry.

At the moment this site is going through an extensive update, if you have visited this site in the past six months you will have noticed that this site has been going through various updates from becoming a small website to becoming a four rank Google homepage. As I am writing this, this site has received its biggest traffic in over a year this measures at:
19th May 2005 – Over 1000 unique views!
Considering that a few months ago we where receiving about 62 unique views per day, this is a rapid increase.

Currently I am writing various guides to upload on this site, these guides vary on subject so that I cover most areas, the tutorials page I getting a massive update from just hosting 3D Studio Max Tutorials to listing 20+ programs about game programming tutorials on different software. Various new sections are being placed onto the site such as a Jobs area so you can see what current jobs are being offered in the industry.

IMPORTANT

Due to inappropriate use of the watupload feature the following action will take place:

For the remainder of this month hot linking is enabled due to bandwidth being eaten up by a certain site, this is deemed inappropriate and the site will therefore be blacklisted from our server. The hot linking will be taken off next month (June 1st 05).

Domain Renewal - The Domain is coming to the end so I will be renewing the domain for another couple of years
Download - This is a feature I have wanted to do for a while and am finally getting to it, if you witness any slowness on Watotron.com this will be because I am uploading the files for the new download section
Jobs - With this Job's section you will be able to see what current jobs are available in the industry
Guides - Many more guides are going to be released that will feature tutorials and more about gaming and the gaming industry

Domain - Instead of having to type in http://www.watotron.com/watupload, there will be an easy to remember domain launched
Space Increase - We are increasing the space for member from 7MB to 10MB
A New Skin - I feel that the current skin has some navigational problems, the new skin will make it look simpler and easier to use

Forum

A New Skin - I feel that the forum is to dark, so the new skin will be much easier on the eyes
New Areas - The forum areas are getting a total revamp
